President Joe Biden can only be described as belligerently wrong and stubbornly foolish

President Joe Biden gave his first State of the Union address last Tuesday. He started off with sentiments for the people of Ukraine. Of course, we all agreed with these statements; what Ukrainians have experienced and continue to endure can only be described as hell on earth. What Biden didn’t discuss is America’s plan going forward with the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He made no comments as to whether America will continue to keep weapons, intelligence and advance capabilities rolling into Ukraine. He also avoided addressing the fact that his administration was a day late and a dollar short when it came to supplying lethal assistance to Ukraine. Instead, President Biden attempted to take credit for the notable European and worldwide response, all of which he had nothing to do with.

Many were expecting Biden to discuss America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, which his administration originally labeled as an ‘extraordinary success’ even though 13 servicemembers didn’t make it home. The haphazard withdrawal turned Afghanistan into a warzone now ruled by terrorists, hundreds of Americans were abandoned and continue to be stranded in the country, thousands in the country will now starve, and most importantly, our withdrawal showed the rest of the world just how weak the Biden administration truly is.

Biden also avoided discussing China, Iran, and North Korea, three subjects that undoubtedly will impact our nation in a matter of time.

As expected, Biden showed just how disconnected he is with domestic issues such as inflation and our dependence on foreign oil. He talked about ‘Made in America’, explaining how Americans need to buy products and services that originate on our soil. Quite the humorous statement considering our country is facing what some might call an energy crisis because Biden’s administration has chosen to rely on foreign oil.

President Biden has only been in office a little over a year, but during that time the U.S. has set a record for imported Russian oil and we’re currently begging OPEC to produce even more. America has the resources and potential to be energy independent, that was proven during Trump’s time in office, but Biden is determined to drive this country into the ground with his green energy agenda. In the meantime, America will continue to fuel Russia’s war machine by importing 600,000 barrels of crude oil and other petroleum products daily from the communist country, costing us $60 million a day.

When it came to inflation, Biden blamed rising prices on the pandemic and greedy businesses. He plans to fix this problem by unleashing prosecutors and antitrust cops. He also plans to spend even more money on social welfare entitlements. It’s unfortunate that our country’s leader doesn’t understand basic economics; when you continue to pump more and more money into an economy, inflation will only worsen.

The United States and the world are facing a dangerous new era and many around the world are looking to American leadership for guidance. The U.S. has always been stable, reliable, and strong, but this administration encompasses none of those traits. Going forward we can only pray that Biden fires those around him and seeks advice from those who are more knowledgeable with our country’s best interest in mind.
